About Us

Pippins has been owned by Doug and Olivia Hodge since 2007. Originally hailing from Hertfordshire, Doug and Olivia have always been animal people. Doug headed the dog section of Hertfordshire Police for several years and Olivia worked at a vets practice for ten years. They have a gorgeous black cat who – you guessed it – is called Pippin!

 

Our Manager, Nicola, has been with us since 2009 – starting out as a weekend assistant. In 2015, Nicola graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science, specialising in animal behaviour and psychology, and was promoted to Manager. When Nic’s not at work, she’s busy pampering her own lovely felines, Luna and Sassy.

 

We also have a fab team of caring and compassionate cattery assistants in Megan and Leila.

 

As owners of cats ourselves, we know how important it is to have peace of mind when you’re away. That’s why we offer the best quality care around and we look after each and every cat as if they’re our own.
